The rice bran oil production process cannot directly adopt a one-time solvent extraction process like soybeans, that is the rice bran should be extruded before solvent extraction. The extruding treatment can expand the powdery rice bran into a porous and well-permeable columnar structure, increasing the density of the rice bran (the density after extruding of rice bran is about 500kg/m³), speeding up the penetration rate of the solvent, which is beneficial to the solvent extraction process. The penetration of solvent can reduce the residual oil in the bran meal; on the other hand, through extruding treatment, the lipolytic enzyme in the rice bran can be fully passivated and inactive, making the rice bran less likely to go rancid during the storage process, extending the shelf life of the rice bran. The acid value of the crude oil solvent extraction from rice bran is greatly reduced, and the quality of the crude oil leached from rice bran is effectively improved. Therefore, after rice bran is extruded, it can not only increase the output (leaching puffed rice bran can increase the leaching capacity by 25% to 35% compared with direct leaching of rice bran), but can also improve the leaching characteristics of the material and increase the penetration rate of the solvent into the material. In the processing process, it can save energy, reduce the solubility content of wet meal, increase the concentration of mixed oil, enhance the desolation capacity of steam dehydration machine and evaporator, reduce various consumption, and increase the oil yield of rice bran.
